| SUMMARY: |
Senior Accountant and Administrative Manager Our client is a nonprofit located in downtown DC. We need a Senior Accountant who will also be responsible for some administrative management duties.
|
| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Perform the following FINANCIAL duties: - preparation of invoices/expense allocations
- sign checks and make deposits
- review Peachtree data entry/general ledger
- perform monthly close functions, fundraising reconciliation and final review
- collaborate on budget preparation
- analyze foundation reports and grant allocations
Assist with the following ADMINSTRATIVE MANAGEMENT duties: - process employee requests
- supervise payroll
- coordinate with outside vendors
- collate IT requests
- manage volunteer duties of staff
- manage supplies
- coordinate interns

| KNOWLEDGE - SKILLS & ABILITIES: |
Top candidates will have: - BA or BS in Accounting (or similar discipline)
- 5 to 7 years of nonprofit accounting experience
- 2+ years of administrative office management
